Each year, Arts Missoula takes time to honor individuals and businesses whose outstanding work in the arts and humanities have made a significant contribution to the community’s quality of life. Categories include: Individual Artist, Cultural Acheivement, Cultural Vision, Arts Educator and Business Support for the Arts.
An open air art celebration designed to highlight some of Missoula’s best visual artists. The festival, established in 2012, has continued to grow and features art creation all day from selected local and regional artists, a Studio Tour featuring some of Missoula’s best known artists, workshops for all ages, auctions, live music and more.
Held in Caras Park on the first Sunday of September, this festival celebrates our sister-city partneship with Neckargemünd, Germany. Highlights of the festival include traditional German music, food, and beer.
(New Year’s Eve – December 31)
A New Year’s Eve celebration of art and culture. Each year Arts Missoula puts together anywhere from 80 to 100 performing artists for a festival that spans 12 hours and as many as 30 venues throughout Missoula. Originally from Boston, First Night began as an alcohol free, family friendly alternative for New Year’s Eve. First Night Missoula offers a wide range of performances of dance, theatre, music and art in every genre.
