First Night Missoula
First Night Missoula celebrates it 25th Anniversary this winter! First Night Missoula is a community built festival that highlights talented local and regional musicians, performers, and other artists in several locations throughout Missoula. Join us this New Year’s Eve to celebrate 25 years of entertaining and engaging audiences of all ages through the arts.
APPLICATION for artists is now OPEN!
First Night Missoula is seeking local and regional artists to perform in our 25th anniversary of celebrating the arts in Missoula. Follow the link below and select the category that applies to you. The application will close on June 30, 2018 at midnight and artists will be notified by mid August.

With so many art events happening every single week, it can be confusing to keep track of it all. ARTS Missoula has partnered with Missoula Events to produce event listings for every First Friday! If you are an artist, venue or business with a First Friday event, please post your listing HERE! on our Gallery Guide. Be sure to hashtag #firstfriday. Arts Transform Communities: Montana Arts Integration Conference
June 27-29, 2018 Missoula is hosting a state-wide conference on Arts Integration. The conference will take place on The University of Montana campus for an audience of educators, administrators, teaching artists, community leaders, creative thinkers and policy makers – people like yourself! Sponsored by UM Arts, MCPS and SPARK! Arts we are joined by our conference partners Montana Art Council and OPI.
Missoula now has more arts integration happening than ever before and we wish to share what’s happening with new school teams and new teaching artists.The conference will feature the work of Montana teachers and artists as well as arts integration experts from around the country.
