12:30 pm - Zootown Flutes

This program will be a selection of works for flute choir including piccolo, flutes, alto flutes and bass flutes. The Zootown Flute Choir will collaborate with the Montana Flute Association, bringing together flutists from all across Montana. The program of music will be directed by Dr. Jennifer Cooper (Zootown Flutes Director and Montana Flute Association Board Member) and Kirsten McGlynn (Zootown Flutes Co-Director).

2:00 pm - Montana Horn Club

Founded by Zachary Cooper in 2015, the Montana Horn Club brings together Montana’s top community members, university students, and symphony hornists for a riveting performance.

3:30 pm - Pura Vida Community Choir

The Pura Vida Community Choir and Kids Choir, under the direction of Josh Farmer, will present community music for everyone as they fulfill their goal of bringing joy and light to all who listen.

5:00 pm - Five Valley Chorus of Sweet Adelines

The Five Valley Chorus and the Rocky Mountainaires are singers who love to entertain and make the chords ring. Their style of harmony is an original American art form called barbershop harmony, singing four part chords unaccompanied. These choruses hope to put a smile on the faces of First Night audiences as they sing.

UNIVERSITY CENTER
5:30 pm - Montana A Capella Society

A wild and crazy group of troubadours performing traditional A Capella music while dressed in Victorian clothing. The Montana A Capella Society will be serenading First Night audiences as they begin on the 3rd floor of the University Center and wind their way down to complete their concert in the UC Atrium.


All volunteers receive FREE admission to First Night.
Most shifts are only 2 hours.
