Basses Covered has been playing popular venues in Missoula and up the Bitterroot, from the Top Hat to The Loft, in cavernous and intimate tap rooms, farmers markets, festivals and backyard patios. The harmony-driven, drummerless trio of veteran musicians Carla Green (bass, guitar), Eric Pfeiffer (rhythm and lead guitar) and Marlene Hutchins (guitar, bass) covers well- to little-known songs from the catalogues of Ray Charles, the Beatles, Everly Brothers, Moonglows, Bruce Springsteen, Lefty Frizzell, Billie Holiday, Del Shannon and Buddy Miller. We’ll get your feet tapping and have you humming the melodies along with us.
